The Como project is a thoughtfully designed split-level extension combined with a full home renovation, transforming the property into a spacious and modern residence. A second bathroom was added to improve functionality and comfort, while the existing layout was refreshed to better suit contemporary living. Every element of the renovation was carefully considered to ensure the home feels cohesive, practical, and welcoming.

One of the standout features of this project is the new expansive deck, positioned to take full advantage of the stunning outlook over the Georges River. Designed as an extension of the living space, the deck creates a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, perfect for entertaining or simply enjoying the peaceful surrounds. The elevated position enhances the sense of openness, allowing natural light and river views to become part of the everyday living experience.

Building in Como presented its challenges, particularly with the steep site and tight working conditions. Balancing structural stability with elegant design required careful planning, precision engineering, and close coordination at every stage of construction. Each level of the extension was designed to step down naturally with the land, minimising disruption to the site while maximising usable space.
